Please could you tell me the direct cost to the BBC to enter the
Eurovision Song Contest since the last year in which data is
available and also the annual amount the BBC gives to the European
Broadcasting Union for in membership fees also since the last year
in which data is available.

Quote-marks "We have therefore failed to meet the 20-working-day deadline ..."

Yet again. The BBC continues to flout the Law. It is required to answer PROMPTLY, with the 20 working day limit being a safety net not a deadline nor a target.

"... for which we apologise."

Which is a mere form of words, insincere and insubstantial, with no tangible effect and certainly no remedy for the BBC's continued law-breaking.

May I suggest, Mr Baker, that you ask immediately for an internal review to ascertain exactly why they have failed to comply with legislation and answer PROMPTLY?
