Dear Royal Mint,

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

Please supply me the following information:
1. The total cost to the Mint of designing, preparing dies and manufacturing coins, either for public circulation or for sale as collector pieces, commemorating the United Kingdom's intended departure from the European Union on 31st October 2019.

2. Whether any such coins were pressed, and if so, whether they have been destroyed.

3. If applicable, the total face value of any such destroyed coinage and the cost to the Mint of its destruction.

4. Whether the Mint intends to, or has recieved instruction from Her Majesty's Government to mint any such coins commemorating the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union on 31st January 2020 and, if applicable, the estimated cost to the Mint of designing, preparing dies and manufacturing any such coins, and an estimate of their total face value.
