Cost of ;axatives in hospital

The request was partially successful.

Dear St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust,

Please advise the cost of laxatives and suppositorys for that purpose for inpatients
in 2015 2014

Pleases advise if their is any policy in place to reduce the need for laxatives by offering cost effective food and drinks or alternative natural healthy alternative to medical laxatives to inpatients that would avoid the need for prescription laxatives and suppositorys

Yours faithfully,

Sylvia Rushbrooke

FOI, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
