Corrspondance between Councillor and CEO
Dear Caerphilly County Borough Council,
Following a Stage 1 complaint I made an appeal to Councillor Andrew Whitcombe to provide some assistance in ascertaining why on Caerphilly Council does not want to put effort into effectively resolving issues instead of dismissing the complaint as a non-issue. I stated that I may escalate the matters raised in the Stage 1 complaint to Stage 2 and wished to obtain further information before doing so.
On 25 January 2018 I received an email via cc addressed to Andrew Whitcombe from Mark Williams with subject 'Stage 2 Complaint - Our ref 64/CHI5650 - Mr Kimber, 59 Newport Road, Cwmcarn'. The email from Mark Williams made reference to an email dated 27 December 2017 from Andrew Whitcombe. I have requested a copy of the email sent on 27 December 2017 by Andrew Whitcombe on four separate occasions from 25th Jan to 6th Feb, but he has thus far failed to supply a copy.
I wish to see the correspondence to further understand if Caerphilly Council had substance to their reason for considering Andrew Whitcombe's information request a stage 2 complaint.
As it stands, Caerphilly Council have disenfranchised me of the right to represent my complaint against their poor service.
Yours faithfully,
Robert Kimber
