SES Official Correspondence, Highways England Company Limited

Dear J Taylor

I am writing regarding your request for information received on 23
September 2017.  In that request, you asked us to confirm what corrosive
substances are used when working on the Strategic Road Network and whether
any of these substances are coloured yellow.

I will be unable to proceed with your request without clarification of the
information you wish to receive. To help us do so, I would like to know
whether this is a general enquiry as to whether we use corrosive
substances on the network or whether you have seen such a yellow substance
on one of our roads. If you have seen a yellow corrosive substance, can
you please provide us with details of where you saw this, when and any
other specific details that may prove useful when discussing this with our
specialists?

Please note that if I do not receive appropriate clarification of your
information requirements within three months from the date of this letter,
then I will consider your request closed.

If you wish to discuss any of the above, please contact me. Please
remember to quote reference number 755,626 in any future communications.

Kind regards
