Correspondence with intended Developer
Dear Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council,
Have there been any emails and if so can I see them between Countryside Properties and Mr E Boylan, Mr A Kippax and Mr P Lawrence of Stockport Council relating to the sale of council-owned land designated as both Green Belt and Country Park at Reddish Vale in the last 6 months?
Yours faithfully,
Pat Ruaune

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in response to your request for information (ref FOI 7639).
The relevant Council Service(s) has searched for the requested information
and our response is as attached.
Please note that a small amount of information has been removed under
Section 43 (Commercial Interests). This is clearly indicated in each
relevant attachment.
When making the decision to refuse to release this information the Council
has considered the Public Interest in the revelation of the withheld
information against the Public interest in upholding the exemption.
Although there is an inherent public interest in releasing information to
the public about public services and expenditure. It is believed that the
level of information already provided means that there would be very
little additional benefit to the public by releasing the information which
has been withheld.
The small amount of information which has been refused relates to
information relating to specific functions of partner agencies operating
in a competitive marketplace. The release of this information into the
public domain is likely to provide a very real disadvantage to our
partners.
On balance it has been decided that there is insufficient public interest
in the release of the refused information to override the factors which
favour upholding the exemption.
If you are unhappy with the way we have handled your request for
information, you are entitled to ask for an internal review; however you
must do so within 40 working days of the date of this response. Any
internal review will be carried out by a senior member of staff who was
not involved with your original request. To ask for an internal review,
contact [1][email address] in the first instance.
If you are unhappy with the outcome of any internal review, you are
entitled to complain to the Information Commissioner. To do so, contact:
