Dear Prime Minister's Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Prime Minister's Office's handling of my FOI request 'Correspondence relating to the decision not to publish the ISC report on Russian interference'.
The decision on whether or not to release the 'Russia Report' is clearly contentious and clearly meets any public interest test.
The refusal to publish even a redacted account of this decision making is capricious. No sensitive information need be contained within the documents and the pros and cons on all sides can still be revealed.
This is, after all, a matter that calls into question the security of the UK's democracy.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...
Yours faithfully,
PHILIP HOLDEN
