Thank you for your email. Please note I am on leave with no access to
emails until 2 Oct 2023. For urgent queries, please contact
[email address]. Thanks.
Dear Ms Foster,
Further to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 sent
from an address at ‘WhatDoTheyKnow’, the Trust considers that it is not
obliged to comply with this request for the following reasons:
1. We have reasonable grounds to suspect a pseudonym has been used for
this request. Your account and associated email address on
‘WhatDoTheyKnow’ has been suspended as it is believed it is being used to
evade an existing ban. As per Section 8(1)(b) of the Freedom of
Information Act, a valid address for correspondence is required. We are
unable to proceed with the request on this basis.
2. In the event we receive confirmation of a genuine identity, the request
would be refused as it is deemed to be vexatious under section 14 of the
Act. Your request does not appear to have any clear focus and is
unreasonably broad with an apparent design of causing nuisance. You do not
identify specifics and we consider this to be an attempt at fishing for
information. This view is further supported by the fact that you appear to
have submitted a large batch of identical or similar requests dated 28th
September 2023.
If you are dissatisfied with the Trust’s response to this request, you can
request an internal review by emailing us at: [DOWAT request email].
Kind regards,
K O'Grady
The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust
