Subject: Freedom of Information request - Correspondence Between The
Mayor/The Mayor's Office And Ajit Chambers Or The Old London Underground
Company Ltd

Thank you for your interest in the work of the Mayor and the Greater
London Authority (GLA). We are keen to answer your query as quickly and
fully as possible. As you will appreciate, the Mayor receives a very large
amount of correspondence but the GLA is committed to responding to your
query within 20 working days.

Further information on our service standards, and where exceptions may be
applied, is available on our website at:
[1]http://www.london.gov.uk/about-us/contac...

Please note that the GLA will refer queries to the relevant Greater London
Authority (GLA) functional body for them to reply. For example, Transport
related queries will be passed on to Transport for London (TfL), queries
related to policing oversight will be forwarded to the Mayor’s Office for
Policing And Crime (MOPAC).

It is also important for the GLA to separate Mr Johnson’s role as Mayor of
London from his role as Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South
Ruislip. Therefore, queries related to his role as MP will be forwarded to
his constituency office.

Finally, queries related to the 2016 Mayoral and Assembly Elections will
be forwarded to London Elects for a response.

Thank you for taking the time to write to the Mayor of London, Boris
Johnson.

Yours sincerely,

Public Liaison Unit
