Dear Mr Coulson,
Thank you for informing me about LCC's retention policy. However, it does not provide me with the information that I require and is highly ambiguous when used to answer an FOI request.
Please clarify your answer by confirming one of the following.
1) You have conducted a thorough search for the information and have found it.
2) You have conducted a thorough search for the information and have found that it definitely no longer exists.
3) You have not bothered to conduct a thorough search for the information because you assume that it no longer exists.
4) You have not bothered to conduct a thorough search for the information because you know that LCC has a regular and consistent program of the destruction of such records.
Yours sincerely,
Dave Rawlins
Good morning
I have checked with the Highways department who handled your FOI request
and they advised that last year they cleared all files that did not need
to be kept under the retention policy. They have confirmed a search has
been conducted for this information and it no longer exists.
Kind regards
