Correspondence and minutes between Cornwall Council and the Duchy of Cornwall

Jake Lofdahl made this Freedom of Information request to Cornwall Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Cornwall Council,

I am writing to request information from the Cornwall Council under The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 ("the EIR"), specifically in relation to the Duchy of Cornwall.

Please can you provide me with:

(1) copies of any correspondence with the Duchy of Cornwall specifically relating to environmental information [a].

(2) copies of any minutes for meetings regarding environmental information [a] relating to the Council and the Duchy of Cornwall.

[a] for the purpose of this request 'environmental information' means the same as in the EIR.

Both of these requests specifically relate to the period between 1 January 2010 and 1 November 2011.

I refer to the information commission ruling on the case Bruton vs ICO which states that the Duchy of Cornwall is a public authority under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Please acknowledge receipt.

Yours faithfully,

Jake Lofdahl

Dear Environment Planning and Economy - Freedom of Information Mail,

In order to reduce the 'significant cost' which you have highlighted in your last correspondence I am narrowing down my request to focus on precise information, details of which follow.

I specifically require:
i) Copies of correspondence with the Duchy of Cornwall relating to environmental information relating to the Duchy's developments plans in Truro.

ii)Copies of any minutes for meetings regarding environmental information relating to the Council, the Duchy of Cornwall and the Duchy's development plans in Truro.

Again both of these requests specifically relate to the period between 1 January 2010 and 1 November 2011.

Again I refer to the information commission ruling on the case Bruton vs ICO which states that the Duchy of Cornwall is a public authority under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Yours sincerely,

Jake Lofdahl

Large documents can be uploaded directly to WhatDoTheyKnow and do not need to be sent as a hard copy. See the following from the guidance to officers page:

How can I send a large file, which won't go by email?

Instead of email, you can respond to a request directly from your web browser, including uploading a file. To do this, choose "respond to request" at the bottom of the request's page. Contact us if it is too big for even that (more than, say, 50Mb).
