Dear Coroners Office,
Many thanks for your speedy reply and hope you had a great Christmas, I am compiling information regarding this incident of which Mr McCollum was a victim. I was also present at the incident as a member of the SF and I am trying to describe accurately all of the incident from as many sources as possible to give a balanced account of what happened and how it affected myself, my colleagues, the families and with a certain amount of careful consideration, those that instigated the attack. I knew Mr McCollum from his time at the SF base, I would like to know what the official cause of death was, as well as any other information that was available at the inquest that would be available to the public forum and this FOI.
Yours sincerely,
Raymond Putman
