I a minister of God, according to your ordinance the freedom of information act 2000 I require full disclosure and honest transparent answers to the following questions.

How many police constables (officers) of all ranks have died in the front line as well as the entire Dyfed Powys police constabulary due to coronavirus this year?

Police Staff/Officers below the rank of Chief Constable, or Policing
Services

 

Complaints in relation to Police Officers/Staff below the rank of Chief
Constable are considered by [5]Dyfed Powys Police.

 

The Chief Constable

 

One of the key statutory responsibilities of the Police and Crime
Commissioner is to deal with formal complaints received against the Chief
Constable (former or current).  The Commissioner must decide initially
whether to record the complaint (in line with legislative requirements)
and if so, how to address it.

If you wish to complain against the Chief Constable you can submit your

The Police and Crime Commissioner

In accordance with the provisions that are contained in the Elected Local
Policing Bodies (Complaints and Misconduct) Regulations 2012, the Police &
Crime Panel deals with any complaints about the Police and Crime
Commissioner.

Dear Minister Francis,

In response to your request please be advised that the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 states the following:

 

Section 1 -  General right of access to information held by public
authorities

(1)Any person making a request for information to a public authority is
entitled

(a)to be informed in writing by the public authority whether it holds
information of the description specified in the request.

 

Section 16 - Duty to provide advice and assistance

(1)It shall be the duty of a public authority to provide advice and
assistance, so far as it would be reasonable to expect the authority to do
so, to persons who propose to make, or have made, requests for information
to it.

 

Section 10 - Time for compliance with request

(1)    a public authority must comply with section 1(1) promptly and in
any event not later than the twentieth working day following the date of
receipt.

 

 

In line with the above:

 

Section 1 -  the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has informed
you that it does not hold the information you have requested.

Section 16  - the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner have
provided you with advice on where the information may be available.

Section 10 - the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner have
responded to your request within the designated timeframe of 20 working
days.

 

Taking the above into consideration I can advise that the Office of the
Police and Crime Commissioner have complied with the Freedom of
Information Act and cannot provide you with any further information in
relation to this.

 

Should you so wish the office can forward your original request to Dyfed
–Powys Police Force, however please be advised that in line with the
General Data Protection legislation we would need you to provide your
written consent for your details to be forwarded in order for us to do
this. The Force would then have 20 working days to respond to your request
