Minister Francis

Dear FOI (Freedom of Information),

Thank you for your reply.
Is there any evidence to prove that this generation actually died of coronavirus or covid19?
And does one death justify a lockdown of a nation?

In reverence and love for all of the heavenly fathers creation,

minister francis.

FOI (Freedom of Information), Merthyr Tydfil Council

We wouldn’t hold evidence confirming The Gentleman had COVID. You would
need to see the death certificate, You  would need to contact registrars
to do that or contact the NHS. However a persons medical records are
confidential, even after death.

The applicant seems to have miss understood our response. We’ve had more
than 1 death in Merthyr, our response related to the Councils workforce.
If he wants data relating to the number of deaths in Merthyr that is
available on the PHW dashboard. You can also to clarify  the decision to
lockdown Wales was made by Welsh Government. It was not a localised
lockdown. You will need to direct his request to them to understand their
rationalisation however it is more than likely already in the public
domain.

I hope that helps.

Kind Regards
