Dear Alison,
Thank you for your request for internal review. Your request is still being collated currently and we are still working to gain a response for you.

The Information Commissioners Office (ICO) has recently released some guidance on FOI and the Coronavirus (COVID-19). They have advised that they recognise the unprecedented challenges we are all facing during the Coronavirus (COVID019) pandemic and how resources are being diverted away from their usual roles to assist. Therefore, they are expecting organisations to take a measured approach to how they respond to FOIs and will not penalised for any delays on responses. This guidance is available on their website.

As you can appreciate, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust are experiencing unprecedented pressures dealing with a response to the ongoing COVID-19. All resources frontline and otherwise, are being diverted to assist in the response. Because of this, there may be delays in our response to your request.
At the moment, all we can do is apologise for the delay and we hope you understand why there may be further delays in responding to you.

Thank you and kind regards,

Yours sincerely

Dear FOI (THE ROYAL WOLVERHAMPTON NHS TRUST),
I am asking for an internal review into the Trusts failings to answer one of my questions with regards to this Freedom of Information Request. With regards to PPEs in my opinion you should clarify this very serious issues regarding PPEs .
My opinion is that you are probably risking staffs lives by not having appropriate PPEs this is more likely why you do not want to comply with regards to this question.

Yours sincerely,

Alison Stevens
