Andrew Kirkham, Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council

Dear Mr Smith,

Oldham Council is pleased to provide the following information in response
to your recent request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 relating
to the questions you sent below

Q1 : Is a data migration required to move from Frameworki v4 to Mosaic?

Yes, we will need to migrate any data that is currently in Frameworki to
Mosaic.  This is being planned at the moment.

Q2 : What are the licence costs associated with this move? Please quantify
any one-off licence costs and annual support/maintenance charges

The purchase of Mosaic was completed as an early adopter arrangement in
September 2013 at a cost of £60,000, which includes a migration package.
The annual support and maintenance charges are included within the
existing Frameworki contract (i.e. one will replace the other when we
migrate and no additional charge in the interim), which is £57,848
annually.

Q3 : What other payments to Corelogic will be made in association with
this change? eg migration fees / other services costs

This is unknown at this stage as we are currently in the planning stage of
the migration to Mosaic.  We are consulting with 2 other Local Authorities
who have already migrated and in discussions with CoreLogic.  We aim to
keep the cost as low as possible whilst ensuring project success and
minimised risks.  For instance, there are 3 business areas we will be
implementing on Mosaic soon vs. implementing on Frameworki in order to
avoid any costs of migration.

Q4 : What additional Council expenditure is associated with this change?
For example, additional staffing, external consultancy etc

See answer to Q3.
