Dear Wellbeing Care and Learning FOI,
Dear Louise Appleby you Quoted "We can confirm that NO Serious Case Review has been carried out in respect of Feversham School. The Serious Case Review Committee met on 11 April 2012 however they did not carry out a Serious Case Review of Feversham School"

Well Louise I will say your information is wrong as a Previous FOI 8557 by Ian Merry to Newcastle Council on 30.03.2015 was replied to by Sue Kirkley and she quoted " The case of Feversham School WAS considered in FULL at the Serious Case Review Committee of Newcastle Safeguarding Children Board on 11th April 2012 and you requested the full minutes of that meeting including a list of the present. Sue Kirkley CONFIRMED that the Case WAS considered by NSCB on 11th April 2012 and also confirmed that the MINUTES were provided to Newcastle Council in CONFIDENCE as part of its statutory requirement to be a member of NSCB . The Local Authority DOES hold the requested information but on behalf of the Board.

So Louise are you still saying that NO Serious Case Review was held regarding Feversham School?
and also if Newcastle Council who is a PUBLIC AUTHORITY is part of the Committee on NSCB then why is NSCB NOT a Public Authority?
and the Chair of NSCB is NOT independant as they are answerable to the Director Of Social Services in Newcastle Council.
I do not believe you withholding these minutes from the Public/victims and thier families complies with the principle of transparency and openess.
and if you louise cannot be honest that there WAS a Serious Case Review into Feversham School then i request a Internal Investigation.

Yours sincerely,

Rachele Graves

Dear Newcastle upon Tyne City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Newcastle upon Tyne City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Copy of Report of serious Case review'.
I am annoyed that Newcastle Council have ignored me since i replied back to Louise when she denied that a serious case review was held about Feversham Residential School in Walbottle Newcastle and i replied back to her that it has already been confirmed there was a review held which had been requested by a ex employee from Feversham a couple of months ago and a lady called Sue who works at Newcastle council responded to his FOI.
And i am disappointed and upset as in my FOI Request i mentioned my deceased brother was a residential boarder at Feversham school in the 1980's and i had also mentioned that it had come to my knowledge that a Inquiry was held and even gave the date when it was held so to then deny it took place was a insult to my intelligence then when i replied back she ignored me which in my opinion is not very professional of her and is totally DISRESPECT to my brother and other victims of that residential school that Newcastle Council were responsible for placing children in and funding their placements and by there now total silence makes me wonder do they have something to hide? and so much for councils being open and transparent more like ignorant and secretive.

Dear Freedom Of Information Requests Mailbox,

I am asking for a copy of the minutes of the serious case review that Newcastle holds as a member of the NSCB that had a meeting on 11 April 2012 regarding Feversham Residential School regardless of whether they had a inquiry into Feversham or not i still want to have a copy of the minutes of that meeting.

Yours sincerely,

Rachele Graves
