Local Government Act 1972, Section 122  
Appropriation of Land at Hartley Centre 
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Newham ("the 
Council")  intends  to  appropriate  for  the  purposes  of  redevelopment  to 
provide  a  mixed  use  community  health  centre  and  residential 
development on land at Hartley Avenue. 
 
The  appropriation  intended  will  convert  use  of  all  the  land  to  planning 
purposes and later a further appropriation of some of the land to housing 
purposes.                   
 
A plan showing the land at Hartley Avenue  is available for inspection at 
reasonable times at the offices of London Borough of Newham, Newham 
Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, London E6 2RP. 
Any comments to the proposed appropriation must be submitted in writing 
and  addressed  to  the  Director  of  Legal  and  Governance,  OneSource  
(Ref:  SOLA/NEW027446  )  at  Newham  Dockside,  1000 Dockside  Road, 
London, E16 2QU or at xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xx.xx  no later than 
4.00pm on 13th day of October 2021.
