FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000

Thank you for your request for information, received at this office on 22
January 2013, in which you requested a copy of the report entitled NHS
Evidence Tracking Survey 2012.

Please find attached to this email a copy of the report. I would like to
take the opportunity to provide some context to the report and how it will
be used by NICE. The Tracking Survey was undertaken by Capita Health on
behalf of NICE. It is our intention to use the report as a benchmark for
developing NHS Evidence in order to improve access to Evidence resources,
however it is important to note that the interpretation of the feedback
and the recommendations are the views of Capita and not NICE.

If you have any further questions about our response, please contact me on
0845 003 7781.

If you are unhappy with this response and wish ask for an internal review
of our decision it must be made in writing by letter, fax or email within
20 working days of the Institute’s response to you and sent to:

Lorraine Taylor

Associate Director, Corporate Office

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence

Once we have received your request, you will be sent an acknowledgement
within two working days. The Associate Director, Corporate Office, will
review your request for an internal review and a full reply will be sent
to you within 20 working days.

If you are not content with the outcome of our internal review, you may
apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision who can be
