Copy of letter and comms

The request was successful.

Dear Network Rail Limited,

As part of the proposed "Land north of Marden" development in Marden Kent, Countryside Properties (Countryside Ltd) have been in communication with you about the promotion of this site. Their "Vision Document (May 2019)" says the following under section 9.19:

"[ ]...early proposals seek to undertake works to improve the relationship between the Church and station and connectivity between the promoted land and village.
Following discussions on site with Network Rail, this potentially includes:
• the removal of the existing public footbridge over the railway line or refurbishment" ... "aand [sic] the fitting of lifts to the existing station bridge which would function for both the public and station users. A letter from Network Rail confirms their support for such enhancements."

Please send me a copy of this letter, and any other pertinent communications about this footbridge within the last 2 years.

I am making this request under EIR as it involves potential development.

Yours faithfully,

David Windham

Dear Network Rail Limited,

For the avoidance of doubt, you may view a copy of the aforementioned "Vision Document (May 2019).pdf" here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...

Yours faithfully,

David Windham

Dear Network Rail Limited,

May I also politely bring your attention to the following: Under FOI2019001025, you replied stating that you had not "had any further communication about this footbridge" - aside from that with DHA Transport. As part of that EIR request, I asked for copies of communications between both parties, but it now looks like the statement by Countryside Ltd ("A letter from Network Rail confirms their support for such enhancements"), at face value, contravenes your statement.

Will you please, also, clarify this point further?

Yours faithfully,

David Windham

Thank you for confirming that this is the only letter.

I would like to draw your attention to FOI2019/00455 - if necessary I can re-open this request - but the documents in this FOI refer to a map or plan of owned land at Marden, this appears to be missing from the attachments however, will you please send me a copy of this showing NR owned land at Marden station?
