Dear CMBLNC Info Requests,

Thank you for your email dated 11/1/2017.

However, no map was attached as indicated. Furthermore the link to the BGS Geoindex failed to provide a replicate of the map which was used in last October's roadshow.

Yours faithfully,

John Wilkinson

Dear CMBLNC Info Requests,

Many thanks for the chart, which is exactly what I asked for.

I also made an FOI request on the 6th January 2017 to The Oil and Gas Authority requesting a copy of the chart headed "Regional Seismic Section through Lancashire" showing underground fault lines in the Bowland (SW Extn) and Formby basins, which was displayed on the wall in the area staffed by the OGA at the 'Regulators Roadshow' held in Aughton in October 2016. I've had no acknowledgement of the request, and suspect that it will not be answered. Is this chart though something that you hold? If so, I will submit another FOI to you.

Yours faithfully,

John Wilkinson

Dear John

Enquiry regarding chart headed "Regional Seismic Section through Lancashire" showing underground fault lines in the Bowland (SW Extn) and Formby basins.

Thank you for your enquiry below

We respond to requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Unfortunately our Groundwater team have confirmed that the chart you are referring to is not sourced from the Environment Agency and we do not hold a copy. We would recommend that you make a further request to the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA). Our team have checked on the OGA’s website but they couldn’t locate it.

Please refer to the attached Open Government Licence which explains the permitted use of this information.

Please get in touch if you have any further queries or contact us within two months if you’d like us to review the information we have sent.
