Dear Department for Transport,

Under the terms of the franchise agreement with East Coast Main Line Company Ltd, the phrase "Passenger’s Charter” means the Franchisee’s service commitments to its passengers prescribed as such in the Franchise Agreement, as amended or replaced from time to time with the prior written consent of the Secretary of State in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 1.4 (Passenger Facing Obligations).

Please provide copies of all such passenger charters or franchisee's service commitments that have been consented to by the secretary of state since the start of the franchise. With each amended charter/service commitment, please state from which date each version became valid.

Please also provide all correspondence between the DfT and East Coast Main Line Company Ltd relating to changes to the passenger charters or franchisee's service commitments
