Conversions from social rent to 'affordable rent'

Response to this request is long overdue. Although not legally required to do so, we would have expected Hyde Housing Association to have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Hyde Housing Association,

Following the re-classification of housing associations as public bodies by the Office of National Statistics, we are writing to request the following information under the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR 2004).

According to planning application documents, Hyde Housing is the registered provider for a total of 247 social rented homes, provided as part of the Bermondsey Spa regeneration - (202 of which registered under planning application ref:04/AP/0102 , 7 under ref:12/AP/0164 and 38 under ref:05/AP/2617).

Please tell us how many of these 247 social rented homes have since been converted to 'affordable rent'; i.e. how many of these no longer have rent levels determined by the National Rent Regime formula, but are determined instead as a percentage of market rent?

What is an Emergency repair?

These are faults that put your health at risk or could
damage the property further.

* The repair presents an immediate danger, such as
loose or falling brickwork, gas leaks, and electrical
faults likely to cause shock or fire, and total loss

* Further damage will be caused if the repair is
delayed  e.g. burst pipes, severe roof damage
* The repair is a potential health hazard i.e. communal
staircase lighting, drainage problems causing water
waste to back up or flood entrance paths.

In the event of an emergency our contractor will normally
make the repair/fault “safe” until we can arrange for a
permanent fix to be done.

If you can smell gas

Turn off the supply at the mains;

Don’t smoke or use a naked flame or turn any electrical
switch or appliance off or on (this includes mobile
phones or pressing doorbells) as this could ignite the
[10]left gas; [11]right

Open all doors and windows IMMEDIATELY to ventilate the
property

Call the National Gas Emergency Number on 0800 111 999
(24 hours). Phone from a nearby property and do not use
a landline or mobile phone in the affected property.

It is very important to pay your rent and any service
charges on time and in line with your tenancy or lease
agreement. We have several ways in which you can make
