Conversion therapy
Dear Government Equalities Office,
Please set out the UK Government's understanding of what constitutes 'conversion therapy' in relation to (1) individuals who are gay or bisexual and (2) individuals with a transgender identity.
Please provide all information held by the UK Government regarding the prevalence of conversion therapy practices in UK, where possible including:
* the numbers of individuals in the UK believed to have been subject to conversion therapy practices over the last decade
* the numbers of institutions or groups in UK believed to practise conversion therapy
