Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

1. Is there a generic contract and published terms and conditions between CCG CC departments and commercial "care homes"

2. Are there any procurement guidelines published in respect of contracts from CCG CC and commercial "care homes".

3. Who is responsible for the delivery and quality assurance of these procurements - and what if any is the quality assurance process/regulations.

4. Who is responsible for monitoring that the provider meeting service conditions and what process/policy are in place if the provider does not provide care services.

5. Please provide direct guidance to the regulation or policy that states that it is the "family /residents " responsibility to resolve care/service failings or abuse issues with a provider.

6. Who should we address issues with the conduct of the CCG with .. and is there any chance of independent adjudication (or is it the dubious complaints systems as operated by the former Department of Justice - pointless and incestuous!).

7. Are there any guidelines for families/resident or their relatives re relation to dealing with care provision issues provided by a commercial "care company" funded (scamming!) from the state? (or are we supposed to put up, be grateful and shut up irrespectively).

Yours sincerely,

philip courtney

Although I am getting the impression that Continuing Healthcare is unregulated in terms of conduct, procurement and accountability!
BE good to get the confirmation - Continuing Healthcare - be grateful, put and shut up …. there old people and it creates poorly paid jobs.
