Control Room Operator Ages

[Name Removed] made this Freedom of Information request to Surrey Police This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Dear Surrey Police,

I wish to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:

The number of candidates for your most recent (or significant) intake of Control Room Operators (eg. 999 Call Handlers) - sorted by age range (eg. 18-19, 20-30 etc) - and if they were successful in the recruitment process or not.

In example;

(18-21):
- 23 Successful
- 12 Unsuccessful

I understand from a previous request that you stated you did not ask for an applicant's date of birth, but rather an age-range. To be explicit, I am requesting the data extracted from the age ranges of the most recent or most significant intake of Call Handlers.

I am most grateful for your time in dealing with my request and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully,
