Contracts, nursing numbers, vacant positions

The request was successful.

Dear Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board,

Please supply the contract issued between a nurse and Dr with the health board in terms of employment.

What allowances can nursing and medical staff claim eg meal or travel expenses etc If any how much can be claimed for each?

How many mental health nursing positions do you have vacant currently?

How many locum psychiatrists are you using- how have they been employed eg agency. What have they cost the taxpayer between 2018-2019?

How many psychiatrists positions remain vacant at the current time?
Yours faithfully,

John Brown

Dear Freedom of Information,

Employment
Yours sincerely,

John Brown

Freedom of Information, Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately I am still uncertain as to the
information you are requesting.  Do you mean the contract between the
board and doctor and between the board and nurse as opposed to the
contract between a nurse and Dr with the health board?

Please see the link below to information on pay and contractual
arrangements across all NHS staff groups in Scotland. Doctor’s information
is included under ‘Medical and Dental’ and Nurses under ‘Agenda for
Change’. Would this be the type of information you are looking for?
