Contract Types and Flexible Working
Dear University of Abertay Dundee,
I am conducting a study on the number of contract types advertised by public sector employers and the impact on eqality and diversity.
Please can you provide the number of vacancies advertised in the past year, split by job family, grade, permanant/fixed term and the type of job e.g. full time, part time, term time, zero hours, etc. (including totals for each job family and grade)?
Please can you provide any policies or guidelines on the use of the various contract types that you have advertised over the past year.
Please can you tell me if jobs that are advertised as full time are also open to other types of working, e,g, part-time or job share applications?
Please can you tell me if your organisation welcomes job applicants who are asking for flexible working as part of their application?
Please can you tell me if recruiting managers/panels are encouraged to consider flexible working?
