Contract Register

The request was successful.

Dear Rhondda Cynon Taff Council,

Request you to please provide me with the latest Contract Register of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

I am not able to find the information so that I can download the list in a CSV file . I would like to have a list of the Council's latest contracts register which will include the Council's current contracts. In that list, I need the information, like the contract title, start date, end date, extension month (if any), contract value, supplier name. Request you to please forward a list of a latest Contract Register.

Further to this, could you please guide me from where I will be able to get the latest Contract Registers published in the future.

Yours faithfully,
Lisa Wilson

Dear Ms Wilson,

We refer to your Freedom of Information Request in respect of a list of
the Council's latest contracts register, which will include the Council's
current contracts.

Please refer to attachment for the Authority’s response.

The information illustrates (1)what contracts we have in place on the
register (2) with what suppliers & (3) the start and expiry dates of
listed arrangements.

Please note – These contracts are held centrally on the Authority’s
Corporate Register – there may be other arrangements held at local service
area levels that we may not be aware of & this could be due to a variety
of factors – aligned to Contract Procedure Rules requirements.

With regard to the contract value, we believe the information to
be commercially sensitive and is exempt information under Section 43 of
the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which deals with prejudice to
commercial interests.

This is a qualified exemption and we have therefore applied the public
interest test. In making this decision we have weighed such factors as the
Council's desire to be open and transparent in all its dealings against
the need to ensure that it is able to contract openly in the market place
and also to protect the commercial interests of those companies and bodies
it deals with.

Accordingly, insofar as this element of your request is concerned and
in accordance with Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act ("the
Act") this email acts as a Refusal Notice.

If you are unhappy with the way your request for information has been
handled, you can request a review of the Council’s response.  If you wish
to exercise this right, please set out in writing your grounds and send
your appeal to Mrs Julie Llewellyn. She may be reached at [1][email
address] or at RCT CBC, Pavilions, Clydach Vale, Tonypandy, CF40 2XX.

Additionally you may, if you wish, find out more about the Freedom of
Information Act & Environmental Information Regulations from the
Information Commissioner at

[2]http://www.ico.org.uk/

We trust this answers your queries.

Yours Sincerely
