You have requested the following information under the provisions of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("the Act"):

 

Enquiry: Please provide a copy of the contract with A2Dominion for the
development / sale of the land at Albert Road, with the confidential price
provisions redacted as necessary.

 

Our response is as follows:-

 

The information that you have requested is being withheld under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.   The exemptions which apply to this
information are section 43 of the Act.

 

The Agreement/Agreements between A2 Dominion and Reading Borough Council
contains commercially sensitive information and, due to the ongoing
obligations of both parties contained in that agreement, the disclosure of
the information is likely to prejudice the commercial interests of A2
Dominion and Reading Borough Council.

 

In all circumstances of the case, the Council considers that the public
interest in maintaining the exclusion of the duty to disclose outweighs
the public interest in disclosing the information. 

 

You are free to use any information supplied to you for your own personal
purposes or for non-commercial research, private study or news reporting.
However, you do not have the right to re-use the information in a way
which infringes copyright, for example, by distributing, making copies of
or publishing the information, without the permission of the copyright
holder, which in most cases will be Reading Borough Council. If you wish
