Contract Extensions issued by Post Office to ICL and/or Fujitsu after 1999

The request was partially successful.

Dear Post Office Limited,

I understand that the original Horizon contract between POCL and ICL Pathway was signed in 1999, following the withdrawal of BA from the original BA/POCL Programme, and was for a limited number of years.

Please can you provide a list of all the contract extensions or new contracts issued by POCL/POL to ICL Pathway and its successor Fujitsu related to Horizon and/or other POCL/POL counter services, showing for each:

- date of the contract extension or new contract
- summary of the purpose/content
- duration of the new contract (eg end date or number of years)
- approximate value of the contract
- whether the contract was competitively tendered or was a single tender to ICL/Fujitsu
- if competitively tendered, which other companies were shortlisted
- if single tender to IC/Fujitsu, the justification for not using competitive tendering

Thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,
Peter Howard

Dear [email address],

Freedom of Information Request – FOI2023/00172

Thank you for your response to the above request.

Given your rejection of the request on the grounds of effort, can I please modify the request as per your suggestion (1), restricting my request to "consolidated versions", as this would reduce the
number of variations to around 14. I understand this will be treated as a new request and restart the timescale.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Howard
