Contents of the Prime Minister's Library
Dear Prime Minister's Office,
I am looking for further information on the contents collection of books held at No. 10 Downing Street known as the "Prime Minister’s Library". Specifically, I am looking for information on which books have been donated to the library since 1931, when Ramsay MacDonald began the practice of incumbent and departing ministers being asked to donate a book to the Prime Minister’s library, through to July 2024.
I am looking for the following information:
- The date of the donation (if known)
- Book title and author
- Name of donating Minister
- Ministerial position at the time (e.g. Home Secretary)
Yours faithfully,
Billy Davis
