The request was successful.

"We act for a client buying 18 Camelford Street, Brighton, BN2 1TQ.

Our environmental search has been returned as In Need of Further Assessment due to there being a garage adjacent to the site between 1951 and 1984.

We would be grateful to receive written confirmation from you that the council is aware of the past use of the area and have not identified the study site or any surrounding areas as 'Contaminated Land' or are not considering any further action against the study site or any surrounding sites.

We are aware that the Van Alen Building has been built on the study site and would therefore assume that no further action is to be taken but we would greatly appreciate written confirmation as soon as possible."
