Contaminated Land at Ivy Mews
As a result of an environmental search, I have received a report of potential contaminated land on a property I am in the process of buying at 6 Ivy Mews, Brighton, BN3 1BG.
1. What is known about prior use of the land on which the Mews is built that has lead to it being designated potentially contaminated?
2. Do you have records of any inspections undertaken which may be relevant to land contamination issues?
3. Has the authority identified the site or adjacent property as
Contaminated Land under Part 2A of the Environment Act 1990?
4. Have any adjacent land been identified as potentially contaminated?
5. Ivy Mews was built relatively recently, does the council have records of planning consents or other documentation for the new buildings?
6. Any other information which could be relevant in identifying the risk involved in buying this property
