"a list of all education establishments (Including Nurseries, Primary Schools, Secondary
schools and FE Colleges) within England and Wales with the school names, addresses, pupil
numbers for that school, contact telephone numbers, name of head teacher/school business
manager/deputy head and an email address for each head teacher or school.”

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and a  copy of the
information as held by the Department as at 1^st November 2012 is attached. 

I have prepared for you on an Excel spreadsheet –

This is a list of all Open and Open, Proposed to Close education  establishments (including
Maintained, Academies, Free Schools, Non-Maintained, independent and Further Education) with
address, head teacher details and email addresses, where available as held on EduBase as of
1st November 2012

Due to the amount of teacher turnaround in schools the Department does not hold Head Teacher
email information, and for this reason have supplied you with the school email address where
possible.
