Dear Mr Gittos,
Thank you for your request for information received on 25^th March 2013. You requested:

“Could please send me a full list of all UK universities schools. Specifically I would need
the main name for training, address and contact number with email address”

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and a  copy of the
information as held by the Department as at 25^th March 2013 is attached.

I have prepared for you on an Excel spreadsheet –

A standard extract of all open Universities in England with address, email address, contact
numbers, website information and Head teacher details where available.   Unfortunately the
Department holds very little email information at all for the Universities, but I have
included Website addresses as well wherever possible.

The Department does not hold information for educational establishments in Scotland, Wales
and Northern Ireland. This information may be available using the following links:

Scotland  [1]http://www.educationscotland.gov.uk/

Wales
[2]http://new.wales.gov.uk/topics/statistic...

Northern Ireland  [3]http://www.deni.gov.uk/

As part of the data extract we have included the school Unique Reference Number (URN) so
that if you require further information on any particular school record please go to
[4]www.education.gov.uk/edubase where you will be able to view more information.

If you have any further issues or queries please do not hesitate to contact the EduBase
helpdesk using the feedback form: [5]http://www.education.gov.uk/edubase/feed...

The information supplied to you continues to be protected by copyright. You are free to use
it for your own purposes, including for private study and non-commercial research, and for
any other purpose authorised by an exception in current copyright law. Documents (except
photographs) can be also used in the UK without requiring permission for the purposes of
news reporting. Any other re-use, for example commercial publication, would require the
permission of the copyright holder.

If you have any queries about this letter please contact me. Please remember to quote the
reference number above in any future communications.

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you should make a complaint
to the Department by writing to me within two calendar months of the date of this letter.
Your complaint will be considered by an independent review panel, who were not involved in
the original consideration of your request.

Dear Department for Education,

The email address details are all missing. Could the file be saved as an excel file with the emails please. This is the most important information that we require.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Gittos

Mr Gittos

Apologies if the file you requested had some issues with the email
addresses being omitted or encrypted, however I can assure you that the
files I created do include these.

I have come across similar cases where customers request data via the
whatdotheyknow.com website and the file is somehow encrypted when it comes
to email address information.

if you can supply me with an alternative email address I will send you the
file via this route
