Consultation process in awarding NACUE grant

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Business, Innovation and Skills,

I am currently conducting research regarding enterprise education and star up support in the UK. A large area of focus is government funded schemes/companies. We would be hugely grateful to receive the following information on NACUE:

(1) Please provide the total cost to date of supporting The National Association of College & University Entrepreneurs (NACUE)

(2) Please provide a copy of the budget for supporting NACUE for 2011 and 2012, including any investment funds, administrative costs and a breakdown of the salaries of each of NACUE's employees and Advisors. These can of course be anonymised if necessary.

(3) Please provide documentation that details the process and reasoning behind the decision to provide financial support to NACUE. Please include copies of the invitation to tender, research of potential providers and analysis of alternatives.

(4) Please provide a copy of the due diligence documentation completed ahead of providing funds to NACUE. Please include the research as to any claims made in their application for financial support or the justification given for providing financial support.

(5) Please provide the information as to the metrics against which their performance is being measured.

Yours faithfully,

Tim Ankers
