Consultation for 5G telecommunication mast

Under the FOI act, please provide all communications between ERC and the owner of the 5G telecommunication phone mast that has recently been installed at the corner of Mearns Road and Broom Road in Newton Mearns.

Specifically please include all details of the planning permission granted or request for prior approval, advice on whether any neighbour or community consultation was required and outcomes of any consultation, safety studies and impact on the immediate neighbourhood, together with all other communications on this matter.

This does not on the face if it appear to be “all communications between ERC and the owner of the 5G telecommunication phone mast”.

In particular, I note one of the attachments dated 2 June 2021 ref: Subject:PN - 2021/0333/P has the following wording “ I refer to your email below” which is not included and suggests that not all correspondence has indeed been provided in this FOI response. Please ensure that all communications are included.

Thank you for your email dated 23 March 2022 regarding your response in
relation to the Consultation for 5G telecommunication mast.

 

A departmental internal review was carried out of the response issued and
it concluded that further documentation should be disclosed.   Please see
attached documentation for your information;

 

1)           Correspondence from Applicant Agent previously provided
appeared to tie in with terms of the email

2)           Attachment 2 This was not previously provided as it was felt
it was an email relating to the submission of the PN rather than pertinent
to your request.

3)           Attachment 3 Email with trail ending on the 20^th May 2021
which is the email referred to in 2^nd June 2021 email.

4)           Permission not required letter (please note there is an
automatic date update therefore original date is not on letter)

5)           Invalid letter

 

I apologise that this information was not supplied in your initial
response and the section will be reviewing procedures for responding to
