Considerations and costs for barriers on cycle route off Thoresby Road, Malin Bridge
Dear Sheffield City Council,
Please can you supply the considerations which were made for equality of opportunity for access when deciding to install barriers on the cycle route between Thoresby Road and Watersmeet Road in Malin Bridge; and when these barriers were decided on and installed.
For context, the report in 2012 of the planning application for this route included the reference: "Clearly, the concept of opening up a footpath to cycle use does have implications for pedestrian users of the path and, in particular, disabled people."

I would also like to know the cost each of:
- the path upgrade work in total
and
- the barriers at the Thoresby Road end.
Yours faithfully,
Sam Wakeling
