Under the freedom of information act, I would like to know how many school cases of Covid 19 there have been in the area.
Broken down into
All Years settings,
Nurseries, both private & public
And colleges please.
Can you also tell me the number of establishments within the education settings that have partially closed or fully closed as a result?
Broken down into the individual settings & indicate as either private or public, of
& University, please.
Also could you inform me of the councils policy of private tutoring in this pandemic & how you monitor they are following Covid-19 rules & if & how you check up on those individuals.

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information query, responses to your
questions are given below for Wirral Council.
o School cases of COVID-19 since start of autumn 2020 term: 147 staff,
o Cases of COVID-19 in early years settings since start of September
2020: 15 staff, 7 children
o Cases of COVID-19 in further education settings since start of autumn
2020 term: 8 staff, 49 students
o There have been no partial closures of educational settings due to
o There has been one temporary school closure due to COVID-19
