FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (SCOTLAND) ACT 2002 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

I refer to your information request received on 05/12/2022 our ref FCIR:
43145.

I have detailed the information you requested below and attached and trust
that it meets your requirements.

Request and Response

Under FOISA please supply me with Information contained in your records as
follows:

** after clarification with the applicant this request relates to both
‘Stonewall Scotland’ and ‘Stonewall Equality Limited’**

The full conditions of funding for Stonewall Scotland?

To be clear please supply me with the total amount of funding being
provided per financial year to Stonewall Scotland since the first FY of
funding and the full conditions of funding for Stonewall Scotland.

Please supply me with the conditions of funding, which stipulate what
criteria is expected by your council for Stonewall Scotland service for
the funding awarded to Stonewall Scotland to achieve in real terms.

Please find attached and MS Excel spreadsheet. These payments related to a
Fife Council subscription to the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.  The
payments were for work on a self-assessment of the Council against various
criteria to provide a benchmark of LGBT work and actions the Council
needed to take.  This was not a grant, but a payment for a specific piece
of work.  As such, the only conditions set were the delivery of the agreed
piece of work.

These were payments made to Stonewall Equality but these payments were for
services rendered (such as e-learning and posters) and were not for
funding so no conditions were attached to the payments made.

Please also advise if Stonewall Scotland have been rolling out training in
any of your local authority Schools?

Fife Council does not hold the information you have requested on if
Stonewall Scotland has been rolling out training. In compliance with the
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, we are required to provide
notice that the information is not held under S17 - No information held.

There has been no rolling out of training across the Fife Council Schools
instead schools take individual responsibility for curricular input at
school and who they bring in to do this. I have identified below a school
which has received Stonewall Scotland training.

5. If so please state what schools have received Stonewall Scotland?

Inverkeithing High School are the only school to have received Stonewall
Scotland Training.

Please also state what professional standards and reporting is required to
comply with the conditions of funding, this is to ensure the Scottish
Government are provided VfM whilst not cutting back on Quality.

Fife Council does not hold the information you have requested on what
professional standards and reporting is required to comply with the
conditions of funding . In compliance with the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002, we are required to provide notice that the
information is not held under S17 - No information held. Fife Council have
not received any funding from Stonewall Scotland.
