Dear Mr Johnson

Further to your request for information received on 16^th March, please
see below our response in respect of your enquiry.

1. What computer software are you using for Highways Maintenance Works
Ordering and Inspections, how much are you paying per year, and is there a
fixed length associated with your current contractual arrangements, if so
when?

Computer system: Mayrise.  Cost per annum: £13,500.  Agreement
length: renewed each April for a period of one year.

2. What computer software are you using for Street Lighting
Management, how much are you paying per year, and is there a fixed length
associated with your current contractual arrangements, if so when?

Computer System: GEOWORKS, Steanne solutions. Cost per annum: Maintenance
provision of £15,000.  Agreement Length: No fixed length contract
but is part of street lighting contract provision.

3. What computer software are you using for UKPMS, how much are you
paying per year, and is there a fixed length associated with your
current contractual arrangements, if so when?

4. What computer software are you using for Street Works, how much are
you paying per year, and is there a fixed length associated with your
current contractual arrangements, if so when?

The three Dorset Authorities - Bournemouth Borough Council (BBC), Dorset
County Council (DCC) and Borough of Poole (BoP) have signed up to a
Service Level Agreement for DCC to host a Street Works System for the
entire geographic county of Dorset. This has resulted in economies of
scale for the three authorities and improved cross boundary co-ordination
of works. The system currently in use within Dorset is the Bentley EXOR
Oracle database for which the contribution by BBC is £7,582.22. There
is no fixed term associated with the Street Works Software.

5. What computer software are you using for Bridges/Structures, how
much are you paying per year, and is there a fixed length associated with
your current contractual arrangements, if so when?

We use BMX (Bridge Management Expert) software for bridge / highway
structures asset management. This software is produced by Infrastructure
Asset Management Ltd and the annual maintenance bill is £1050. There
isn't a contract in place.

I hope that this deals with your request satisfactorily.
