Imperial College publishes undergraduate admissions statistics for the past 5 completed admissions cycles. These include:

• Number of applicants, offers and places confirmed
• Average BMAT Scores
• Details of A level, IB and STEP Offers Made
• New Entrants' Achieved A level and IB Grades
• Admissions Rate by Nationality

Please note that percentages derived from figures of five or fewer, including zero, have been replaced by an asterisk. This is because otherwise individuals may be identifiable from the data. This is therefore exempt from disclosure under Section 40 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act.

Please note that all STEP papers had initially been scheduled to run in 2020 and had been included in the offers, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic the STEP papers did not take place.

Please also note that in the 2021 cycle, the STEP 1 paper did not take place, MEng computing typically request STEP 1 and as this was not running, and therefore STEP was only included in a very small number of offers.

Please note that STEP offer applicants who had a place confirmed despite missing STEP may have met or exceeded other academic offer conditions. In addition, please note that as advised above, STEP did not run in 2020 despite being included in the offers.
