Compliance notices issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission

The request was successful.

Dear Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)

Following the coming into force of the equality duty on 5 April 2011, which was created under the Equality Act 2010, the EHRC has a power to issue a compliance notice in the public sector to enforce a breach of both the general equality duty and specific breaches of the duty.

Please list in date order all occasions when a compliance notice has been served by the EHRC, the name of the authority on which it was served with a brief explanation.

Yours sincerely

Peter Williams
