Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Having had several complaints run over the promised time limit, I would like to know how many complaints you receive per year, and how many are dealt with within the timescale laid down by your policies. Please provide data broken down by year, and by type of programme: news / entertainment / other or whatever breakdown is used in your data.

Yours faithfully,

John Davidson

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Complaints timescale failure'.

You argue that you are exempt on this occasion because the data relates to your function in journalism, literature etc. I would argue that it relates to your functioning as a public body with tax raising powers, and your responsiveness to requests is therefore a matter well outside the journalism test.

Please reconsider

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...
