Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Complaints regarding news blackout Lockdown protests, London 24 April 2021'.

Thank you for your response of 25 May 2021.

You referred me to the BBC's fortnightly complaints reports, however, there were no complaints listed in the reports regarding the news blackout on all BBC media regarding the "anti-lockdown" protests that took place in London on 24 April 2021. I do not believe that there were no complaints made to the BBC for not reporting this.

Can you confirm that complaints made to the BBC regarding their refusal to report on the protests were not included in the fortnightly complaints reports and on what basis was this decision taken?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Cathy Monachello

Dear FOI Enquiries,

Hello.... thanks for your response. I am a bit thick and you have totally succeeded in confusing me with your convoluted response.

Am I correct in thinking that you did not include the complaints regarding the lack of news coverage regarding the lockdown protests on the BBC's fortnightly complaints reports? A simple YES or NO would be great.

Why would the complaints concerning the no news coverage of the lockdown protests be considered differently to any other complaint made against the BBC's output.

Yours sincerely,

Cathy Monachello
