Complaints from GPs regarding CCG constitutions

General Pharmaceutical Council did not have the information requested.

Dear General Pharmaceutical Council,

This is a Freedom of Information request following Dr. Buckman's recent comments regarding the signing of CCG Constitutions by GPs who are not happy with the contents of the document. Please could you provide me with any correspondence the GPC has had with GPs on this matter.

More specifically:

- the name and contact details of the CCG being complained against
- the reason for the complaint
- a copy of, or link to, the relevant constitutional document
- the name and contact details of the complainant GP

Yours faithfully,

Alastair Reid

Dear Mr Reid

Thank you for contacting the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Your request for information asks for any correspondence the GPC has had
from GPs regarding CCG constitutions. Can I ask you to confirm that your
email is intended for the GPhC?

By way of background, the GPhC is the statutory regulatory body for
pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and retail pharmacy premises. I
therefore want to be certain that you intended to contact us about this.

I await your further instructions.

Kind regards

Maxine Pryce

Governance & Assurance Officer

Dear General Pharmaceutical Council,

Thanks for your speedy reply, it seems I made a mistake in contacting you instead of the General Practitioners committee. Thank you anyway.

Yours faithfully,
