Complaints & Children's Services
Dear Buckinghamshire Council,
I would like to know the following:
How many complaints have been made by parents in relation to Children's Social Care?
How many of these complaints have been escalated to Stage 2?
How many of these complaints have been escalated to Stage 3?
How many of these complaints have been referred to the Local Government Ombudsman?
How many of these complaints have been completely ignored by Bucks County Council and not investigated at all and no response provided to the parents?
How many of these complaints have been in relation to Safeguarding children who are in the care of Bucks County Council?
How many times have Bucks County Council referred children to MASH?
How many times have Bucks County Council, after referring to MASH, been instructed to lead on these matters?
How many children have been groomed whilst under the care of Bucks County Council?
How many children are currently under the full care of Bucks County Council by way of a Care Order?
How many of the children who are on Care Orders remain in contact with their parents and/or families?
How many children are on a Children in Need Plan?
How many children are on a Child Protection Plan?
Bucks County Council Children Services have been registered by OFSTED as inadequate since 2014; do Bucks County Council have an action plan to improve this service? Do Bucks County Council have any groups formed to ascertain exactly where and how they are failing and how this can be improved?
Yours faithfully,
Kimberley Cleere
