The request was partially successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Could you please provide me with a run-down of any official complaints against Psychology department staff in the last seven years?

If possible, please include names, reasons for the complaint and the number of complaints.

Also, could you please inform me of how much the fountain and lawn in front of the Saltire Centre cost the University, as well as the re-location and re-fitting (and subsequent closing) of the Union bar?

Yours faithfully,

Simon Marshall

Dear Mr Marshall

I refer to your information request (email below).

1. Early in the period that you are interested in (i.e. last 7 years) there was one complaint made against a member of Psychology Department Staff which was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties. The University considers that further details would put the University in breach principles 1 and 2 of the Data Protection Act 1998 and therefore is exempt from disclosure under Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 Sections 28(1)(b) and 28(2)(i).

2. The fountain and lawn in front of the Saltire Centre cost £39,941.77 (fountain) and £1,900 (lawn)

3. The re-locating and refitting (and subsequent closing) of the Union bar cost the University £11,921.55

Yours sincerely
