Complaints about litter on the Highways Agency's network

Peter Silverman made this Freedom of Information request to Highways Agency

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Peter Silverman

Dear Highways Agency,

Could you let me have a breakdown of the number of complaints received about litter and/or refuse by contract area by calender year from 1st January 2009 to 1st January 2014 and for the 5 month period from 1st January to 31st May 2014.

If this presents any difficulty for you I would appreciate your advice as to how I might revise my request to make the task a manageable one for you. In which case it would be helpful if you were first to explain how such complaints are recorded and the resulting data assembled to produce management information and provide examples of the latter.

Please could you provide the information electronically and communicate exclusively via this web site.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Silverman
